A glance at this line grapg reveals how the number of tourists visiting a particular Caribbean island changed between 2010 and 2017.

First of all, it’s evident, that the whole graph is divided into 3 parts of tourists staying on cruise ships, tourists staying on island and the sum of these two. In general, these three parts rised steadily during this period.

More specifically, after fluctuating between, 2010 and 2013, the amount of vistors staying on cruise ships ascended drastically from five hundred thousand in 2013 to two million in 2017 and surpassed the amount of the people staying on island after 2015.

As for the data of visitors staying island, it remained constant at seven hundred and fifty thousand in the first two years. Then, after going through the slow rising between 2011 and 2013, it was stuck in a long-term stagnation of 1.5 million for two years. Moreover, it dipped between 2015 and 2017.

At last, the total number of above two kinds of visitors kept rising until in 2015, it hit a standtill for one year,and finally peaked at 3.5 million in 2017.
