Given is a figure revealing the results of a survey about people’s consume and drinking habits of coffee and tea in five Australian cities.

First column of data represents the percentage of people who purchased fresh coffee in the previous 4 weeks. It’s evident that in Sydney, almost 44 percent of residents paid for fresh coffee during the previous 4 weeks, which is similar to the situation of Melbourne where nearly 42 percent of citizens consume fresh coffee within the previous 4 weeks. In Hobart, the ratio is approximately 34 percent. But there is only 29.5 percent of residents who bought fresh coffee in 4 weeks in Adelaide and in Brisbane, about 29 percent of residents, which is similar to Adelaide, chose to buy fresh coffee within the last 4 weeks.

Second line is the data of people who purchased instant coffee during the previous 4 weeks. Different with first line, the region with most instant coffee purchases is Hobart where nearly 54 percent of citizens chose to pay for instant coffee in the previous 4 weeks. In Brisbane, number of people bought instant coffee is marginally less than Hobart’s, which reach almost 52.5 percent. The ratios in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide are respectively 45.5, 48 and 49.9 percent.

As for the final column of data, it convey the information about the amount of people who went to a café for coffee or tea in last for weeks. The percentage of people who went to café in Sydney, Melbourne and Hobart are all surpass 60 percent, which is evidently far more than the percentage in Brisbane and Adelaide. More specifically, in Melbourne, the proportion up to approximately 63 percent, which is close to Hobart’s 62.5 percent. Correspondingly, the percentage in Sydney reachs 61 percent. But the percentages of the rest two cities, which are much smaller than the others, are 56 percent in Brisbane and 49 percent in Adelaide.
