Given is a plan illustrating the differences between now and a year from now on. These improvemnts consists of three parts of retaining, replacing and adding.

As shown in the figure, while keeping the basic structure of southwest airport, which contains 2 areas of arrival area and departure area, unchanged, there are many obvious adjustments in a year later. Firstly, it’s worth to mention that café and check-in will still locate in departure area as it is now, although their position will change a little for leaving room for bag drop. Therefore, passengers can enjoy the baggage drop-off service conveniently a year later, while they can enjoy a cup of delicious cafe as same as now. Moreover, after passing through the security passport control,since airport will be added some stores, it’s different from now that passengers and airport staffs can purchase some goods they like after one year. Except for this, due to the prediction of the increase in passenger traffic, there will be 18 boarding gates a year later, which are 8 now. Along with the amount of boarding gates increase, the amount of passengers will also rise dramatically. For sake of avoiding crowding, designer is going to replace walkway with sky train.

Not only the departure area will be improved, but there will be also some striking changes in the arrival area. After arriving arrival area, passengers can enjoy a cup of cafe and withdraw money through ATM next year. After a year, If passengers want to go somewhere, the car hire service will gladly take passengers to their destination.
